Step 1: Unlock Bootloader On Realme X2
- First check the latest Software Update of your mobile.
(Settings → About → Software Update)
- After this you will have to enable the Developer Mode of your phone.
After going to Settings → About Phone → Baseband & Kernel → Build Number, click on it 7-8 times. And after this your Developer Mode will be enabled.
- Now you have to Enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlock of your phone.
Settings → Additional setting → Developer Options → Enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlock.
- Download and install Realme Unlock Tool.
- Then Open the Realme Unlock Tool app and click on Start Applying.
- After clicking on Start Applying, the agreement has to be accepted and click on Submit Application.
- After clicking on Submit Application, your submitted application will check Realme Server. This process may take about 1 hour.
- After some time you will get the message of Review Successful in the application.
- After review is successful, you have to click Start the in-depth test.
- After this, your phone will automatically reboot in Fastboot mode.
You have to do the further process in your PC / Laptop.
- Now you have to install Realme USB Driver in your computer.
- Make sure in your computer that ADB Fastboot Drivers is installed in your computer.
- Now you have to download SDK Platform Tools and install it in your PC / Laptop.
- After this, you have to go to the Command Prompt from the SDK Platform Tools file.
You have to click the Shift Key + Right Mouse Button on the empty space in your computer’s SDK Platform Tools folder.
Above you have to type CMD in the location containing the file.
- After this, you have to connect your Realme X2 to a PC / Laptop via USB Cable.
- Make sure that your phone stays in Fastboot mode.
- After this, you have to type the Command in your PC / Laptop in this way

‘adb reboot bootloader’ (Enter)2 command :-
‘fastboot flashing unlock’ (Enter)- Now the bootloader of your Realme X2 has been unlocked.
- After this you have to come to your phone and select Unlock The Bootloader with the help of Volume Down button and press the Power button. After this, your phone will be rebooted.
Step 2 : Flash TWRP Recovery on Realme X2
- Now you have to download TWRP Recovery file for Realme X2 in your PC / Laptop.
- Move this TWRP Recovery file to SDK Platform Tools.
- TWRP recovery file has to be renamed with this name twrp.img
- Now you have to go to Command Prompt in your computer.
You have to click the Shift Key + Right Mouse Button on the empty space in your computer’s SDK Platform Tools folder.
- Then you have to boot your phone in Fastboot Mode.
(Switch off your phone and after switching off, press the Volume UP + Power button simultaneously)
- After this, you have to connect your phone with the Computer via USB cable.

Step 3. Flash Custom Rom on Realme X2
- After installing TWRP Recovery you have to boot your phone into TWRP Recovery.
Now switch off your phone and then press Power Button + Volume Down (-) simultaneously.
- Now you have to click on Wipe Option in your TWRP Recovery.
- After going to Wipe Option, click on Advanced Wipe.
- After moving to Advanced wipe, Dalvik Cache, Cache, System, Data have to select them and slide Swipe to Wipe.
- After sliding Swipe to Wipe, you have to click on Home Button.
- After clicking on Home Button, you have to click on Install and there you have to select the file of Custom Rom.
- After selecting the Custom ROM, Swipe to Confirm Flash
This process can take about 5-10 minutes, if the size of your Custom Rom file is more then it may take more time.
- After Custom Rom Flash, you have to click on Reboot System.
Step 4. Install Open GApps On Custom Rom
- This process for guys whose Custom ROM do not have open GApps.
- First of all, you have to Download Open GApps File for your phone.
Open Gapps :- Download- After rebooting in TWRP Recovery, click on Install.
- After clicking Install, you have to select Open GApps File and slide Swipe To Comfirm Flash.
This process can take about 4 -7 minutes, if your Open GApps file size is more then it may take more time.
- After Open GApps File Flash, you have to click on Reboot System.
